OHP visits schools in the Ashwaubenon, De Pere, Denmark, Green Bay, Howard-Suamico, Pulaski and West De Pere School Districts as well as Encompass, and Head Start to provide essential dental services to students who qualify. Services include exams, x-rays, cleanings and other key care.
In some schools, we have permanent spaces for kids to visit the dentist. In others, we use any available space and bring in our mobile equipment, and set up a little dental clinic. Each year we visit more than 40 schools and see nearly 4,000 kids right at school!
If we visit your child’s school, and they qualify for our services, we can see and treat them right at the school location. To see a list of the School-Based Program’s services, please visit our services page.
When dental treatment is needed that requires more than what can be done in school, students will be referred to one of our clinics for appointments and care.
